Plans have been drawn up for a proposed water reservoir on top of Blue Diamond Hill, including a hydroelectric power plant near Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is hosting a call-in question and comment session Tuesday night to hear from the public about the proposed project.
The Red Rock Legacy bike trail is moving forward in its development, as the Clark County Commission approved $4.7 million for the project.
The trail will connect Summerlin and the Red Rock visitor’s center, and will eventually complete a 40-mile loop similar to the Henderson River Mountain Loop Trail.Read More
