Red Rock cycling enthusiast, Lee “Flash” Gordon, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 2, 2019. A beloved member of the cycling community, his memory will live on in our minds and hearts. Many who knew Lee, knew him as a positive, energetic husband, father, nurse, friend and athlete. Many did not know of his 13 year fight with cancer. Doctors said the cancer should have taken his life over a decade ago, but he refused to let it get him down. He is a true example of how we can all extend and improve our lives with courage, stamina, and positivity.
Join us on June 22 as we celebrate his life with a memorial love ride through Red Rock.
In lieu of flowers, Lee’s family has asked that donations be made to Save Red Rock’s efforts to build a separated bike path and increase cycling safety.
