The telescopes are coming back out! After a summer break, our Star Party series returns on Saturday, September 12 at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center. Enjoy telescope viewing, kids activities, and a constellation tour beneath Red Rock’s spectacular night skies.
We Need Your Help!
Our Diamond Kid Junior Triathlon & Races are Saturday, September 12th from 8:00am – 12:00pm in Blue Diamond, and we can’t pull it off without volunteers.
There’s a job for everyone! Cheer your heart out at the finish line, keep things moving at athlete check-in, help young racers through transitions, set up the course, or stuff swag bags the week before. You pick the areas that fit you on the sign-up form; final assignments go out closer to race day.
BONUS! Volunteers eat free at Friday’s Spaghetti Dinner.
Racers, the Clock Is Ticking!
If your young athlete hasn’t registered for Diamond Kid yet, you have until August 28th before prices go up.
There’s a category for every age and ability level, from the Junior Long Triathlon all the way down to the Diaper Dash. Be sure to reserve your t-shirt and Spaghetti Dinner plate while you’re at it!
Then stick around for the Finish Line Festival with live music, food trucks, vendors, and activities for the kids who still have energy to burn. Get outside, get active, and have a ball!
Proceeds benefit Save Red Rock’s work to preserve and protect Red Rock Canyon.
