Escape Adventures and Save Red Rock offered daily guided Nature Walks in Red Rock Canyon during the month of October to victims, first responders, their family members and anyone affected or saddened by the tragedy in Las Vegas.
Volunteer Opportunity: Nature Walk Friends
We are looking for counselors or compassionate members of the community to accompany people as they walk and reflect in peaceful and serene Red Rock Canyon.
Here are the details and how you can help:
The Dates:
The Nature Walks will be offered once or twice a day, 7 days a week throughout the month of October or for as long as a need and demand continues to exist. Frequency of tours depends will depend on demand.
Nature Walks will depart every day at 8am and 1pm, depending on demand.
Pickup Locations:
We will be picking people up from the Las Vegas Convention Center and from Escape Adventures in Summerlin.
Where Volunteers Should Meet:
After you have selected a date to volunteer, we will give you a call with further details and instructions. You’ll have the option of meeting us in Summerlin and riding in one of the Escape Adventures tour vans or meeting us at Red Rock. We will explain over the phone.
