That's cool up there! I spread some of my mother and father's ashes just beyond that a few years ago. Living in Las Vegas for 53 years my mom always wanted to have a house up in Red Rock, the closest we got was Sun City Summerlin! I told her when she passed away I was going to take her ashes up there and she could have her house in Red Rock. I know it's technically Calico Basin but still the same 🙂
Today for #ThankYouThursday we would like to highlight Alan Snel, a business sponsor and author in support of Red Rock Canyon.
In his book, 'Long Road Back to Las Vegas: How Las Vegas and the Golden Knights healed a journalist's wounds' he tells how "a distracted motorist drove his car into bicyclist/journalist Alan Snel while Snel was bicycling in Florida. The violent crash knocked out Snel. But not for long. Three months later, Snel returned to Las Vegas to launch a dynamic news website in June 2017 called LVSportsBiz.com that documents Las Vegas' exploding sports industry."
