Dear friends of Red Rock Canyon,
I want to thank everyone who came to the Red Rock Citizen’s Advisory Council meeting last night. Many good ideas were heard and offered as to how to best protect the Red Rock Overlay district–and though it does have to be a multi-faceted approach–one thing was loud and clear, Red Rock Canyon is not an appropriate place for big development, and we will have to remain committed to achieving a permanent solution. I will post more details later on the website.
This is a big issue for Las Vegas. It made the nightly news and the front page of the paper again. Thanks again for coming and standing up for Red Rock.
On another note, don’t forget to play an April Fools joke on the ones you love most today! My son taped the handle on the kitchen sink squirter so that we would get all wet when we turned on the faucet. As many times as he’s done it, it still gets me every time!
