Jam at the Barn eclectic music festival hosts its 13th annual gathering in Blue Diamond Park in Blue Diamond, NV, Saturday, June 1, 2019. The family- friendly event runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Musical guests in a variety of genres include artists like grammy award winning musician Alex Wand and National Public Radio featured artist We Are the West. Local musicians include Sonia Barcelona, Holla Mons and Same Sex Mary.
Vegas based Tacotarian will have vegan Mexican food for purchase from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. From 4 to 9 p.m., GFY Veggie Burgers and Fries of Vegas of Vegas will be offering vegan food for purchase. Custom brewed beer, “Donkey Piss” by Solarc Brewing will be served throughout the day alongside other offerings of food, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
“My musical career was inspired greatly by the beauty of Red Rock Canyon,” explains Steven van Betten, Jam at the Barn founder whose band Fell Runner will also be performing. “With Red Rock as a backdrop, the venue combined with this specially curated musical experience makes this a unique celebration of nature, art, and the upcoming summer season.”
Tickets are $25 and are available at the event. Kids ages 12 and under are free but must be accompanied by an adult.
In past years, the event has attracted hundreds of music lovers from the west coast. Attendees should know it’s a bit cooler in Blue Diamond than the city of Las Vegas. For more information visit https://www.facebook.com/events/408861316612023/.

So cars need to move into on coming traffic It’s only 2 lanes
I wish bikers would ride single file, though; they'd be safer doing just that.
Need to also include language for not riding two or three deep on the shoulder.
