Gypsum Resources is asking the Clark County Commissioners for a zone change on their rural zoned property to allow for a non-conforming high density development of over 5000 homes in Red Rock. They bought a historic mine on the mountain across from the Red Rock Visitor’s Center that is surrounded on three sides by the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and on the fourth side by the Red Rock Canyon campground.
